About the restaurant

A recent opening from the Ivy Collection, The Ivy Asia continues the restaurant group's expansion into modern brasserie dining. The original Ivy site in Covent Garden was opened in the early 1900s, becoming the go-to celebrity dining spot into the early 2000s. The group, operated by Richard Caring's Caprice Holdings, now runs more than 40 restaurants around the world under the Ivy name.

With a magnificent view of St Paul's cathedral's dome through its panoramic windows, the restaurant's bountiful cherry blossoms and patterned green floor make for a memorable dinner whatever the occasion.

The focus here is far-reaching, with everything from sushi and sashimi and tempura from Japan, Korean barbecue, crispy duck salad black cod appearing on an expansive brasserie-style menu. An express lunch menu at £28.50 is an affordable way to taste a few of the kitchen's best dishes.

The Infatuation

This restaurant is all about first-rate service and ambience - it’s upmarket without feeling stiff, and casual while remaining elegant.

The Guardian

Relax your brain; enjoy the glacial, emerald floor. No one can say, in difficult times, that The Ivy group saved its skin by being boring.
