About the restaurant

Honey & Co was the first venture for partners Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich, who met while working in restaurants in Israel. The two moved to London, where both worked for legendary chef and restaurateur Yotam Ottolenghi before leaving to open the original Honey & Co in 2012. They’ve since added Honey & Smoke and Honey & Spice to their roster of venues.

Food here is always vibrant and bursting with flavour: crowd-pleasing dishes like flatbreads with hummus, Yemeni-style falafel and chicken shish are complemented by things like kukitza, a Bulgarian-style lamb kofta with lentils.

Packer and Srulovich set up the group to offer friendly and welcoming Middle Eastern-style hospitality, and dinner here, while prepared beautifully, also offers a home-style dining experience.

The Infatuation

In Fitzrovia, Honey & Co. is a small but perfectly formed canteen-style restaurant that delivers homey Middle Eastern food and a heavy dose of Feel Good Factor.

The Guardian

There is a standard starter-main-course-dessert menu, but the best deal is the set – £29.50 brings you a table-crowding mezze followed by your choice of main and dessert. All of it shrieks of freshness and poise, from the banal – a bowl of kalamata olives with their own crunchy pickled cucumber – to the more involved.

Standard

Honey & Co is Israeli food sprinkled with the homespun kitchen wisdom of its Algerian, Moroccan and Iraqi Jewish cooks.

The Telegraph

Honey & Co's stark décor belies a holiday feel and subtle approach to Middle Eastern dishes.

Time Out

A hugely popular Middle Eastern café/restaurant in the northern reaches of Fitzrovia.

The Nudge

There’s no pretension here. The focus is very much on the food – homely Middle Eastern cooking – and with that, everyone’s welcome.
