About the restaurant

Fenn is the second opening from co-founders Luke Wasserman, Toby Neill and Johnnie Crowe, and follows the successful Nest in Hackney. Fenn’s kitchen is led by head chef Joe Laker, who cut his teeth at Anglo and showcases a similar touch with contemporary food and drink in a short tasting menu.

Leafy foliage hanging from the walls, filament bulbs attached to large hanging lights and a cabin-like feel from the wooden interiors give the restaurant a warm and almost rustic feel. The food is smart and sophisticated enough to make anyone coming with you feel like they’re being treated.

There’s an à la carte menu available (which can be ordered as small plates to share or as individual starters and mains), but the best way to experience what the kitchen has to offer is with the tasting menu. More like the seven or eight courses of Perilla than the 16+ of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, this is fine dining with a distinctive neighbourhood feel, which showcases British game and seafood in down-to-earth dishes with the occasional cheffy touch.

The Guardian

A bijou Fulham restaurant with a stylish setting and an imaginative, modern European menu

Standard

Let me just say it: here, at the distant edge of what is perceived as red trouser country, is a cool, cutting-edge enterprise that is, unquestionably, the best new restaurant I’ve visited since outdoor dining resumed

The Telegraph

If you’re lurking in those parts, drop by. Fenn is a place of clever, considered food and deserves to thrive.

The Nudge

The menu here changes with the breeze, featuring both a la carte & set options. And it’s creative and ambitious in equal measure
