About the restaurant
Berner’s Tavern’s dining room is located in the luxurious London EDITION in Fitzrovia, whose other venues include the Punch Room and the Lobby Bar. While the restaurant is below ground-floor level, sky-high, ornate vaulted ceilings and the hundreds of paintings and mirrors that line the walls give an undeniably special-occasion feel.
Chef-patron Jason Atherton is one of the UK’s most successful restaurateurs, running restaurants in London including Pollen Street Social, City Social and Social Eating House, in addition to venues in China, Dubai and further afield.
While you’ll find a similar focus on elegant modern British food at Atherton’s other London restaurants, Berners Tavern is a true all-day restaurant focusing on a compact à la carte menu of simple, elegant and crowd-pleasing dishes. Highlights include a grilled Dingley Dell pork chop and grass-fed Scottish steaks.
